Eyebrow Transplant

Eyebrow transplantation is one of the most preferred treatment methods especially for women. Since women regularly and continuously pluck their eyebrows, a phenomenon called resentment occurs in their eyebrows. Eyebrows lose the thickness and volume of their youth. With eyebrow transplantation, it is possible to achieve the former volume and thickness of the eyebrows. Eyebrows can also be lost due to traumas, burns and accidents. Eyebrow transplantation is one of the best methods used in these patient groups.

Eyebrow transplantation is a procedure performed using the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique. Single and thin grafts (hair follicles) are collected from the back of the head where the hair is strongest.

The collected grafts are transplanted into the gaps in the eyebrows using one of the DHI, SLIT or Sapphire techniques in the most appropriate way for the facial contours of the person.

If you have had any operation before, if you have had a major illness or if you have an ongoing illness, you must inform us.
If you have any allergies, if there is any medication you have used before or if there is any medication you continue to use, you must inform us.

If the operation will be performed with sadation anesthesia, you should not take food and nutritious foods for 8-12 hours.
If the operation will be performed with normal local anesthesia, you should come to the operation as full and full.
Alcohol and blood thinners should be stopped at least 3 days before the day of the operation.
It is good to reduce smoking before the operation for better results.

When you arrive on the day of the operation,you will change your clothes to specail one.
Pre-operative photos are taken for control in the months after the operation.

After the operation, there are things to pay attention to and things to be done.
After eyebrow washing and care is done the next day, it is repeated in this way every day for 10 days.
Since the area where the operation is performed is very sensitive, care should be taken and it is necessary to avoid touching anywhere.
There will be medications you need to use for 1 week. We will inform you about these on the day of the operation.
You should not drink alcohol for at least 1 week after the operation.
You should not use tobacco products for 10-15 days after the operation to get a better result.
Sexual intercourse should be avoided for 10 days after the operation.
For 10 days after the operation, you should not wear hats, berets and similar things that will squeeze the head.
Avoid the sea, sauna and sun for 15 days after the operation.
Heavy sports or fitness should not be practiced for 1 month after the operation. After 15 days, light brisk walking or jogging can be done.
You should take nutritious vitamins and support foods for the eyebrow to grow bushy for 6 months after the operation. We will inform you on the day of the operation.
After the operation, there may often be shock spills in the transplanted area and this is a normal process. This process usually happens within the first month and after the 3rd month the transplanted roots will start to grow. It may take 6 months to 1 year to complete the process

Do eyebrows grow like hair after eyebrow transplantation?
