COMPARE HAIR TRANSPLANT PROCEDURES
DHI vs FUE Sapphire Hair Transplantation
Both techniques belong to the type of FUE – this is a method of extraction of grafts (Follicular unit extraction). They differ only in the indications and the implantation process itself. FUE Sapphire technique is used for large areas of alopecia, on which no hair grows at all. After the extraction, the process of opening the channels takes place (the most important process, since the density, inclination of the hair in the future, etc.) is determined, and then the process of implantation itself. The DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) technique is usually used on smaller areas that still have their existing hair but lack density. And in order not to damage your growing hair, the process of opening the channels and implantation is carried out simultaneously, using a special Choi pen tool.
